Thriya graduated with a Master’s Degree in Chiropractic (cum laude) at the
University of Johannesburg (UJ), South Africa. Upon graduation, she received an invitation to the Golden Key International Honour Society, by which is now a member.
During her studies, Dr Thriya worked as an assistant clinician at the UJ Chiropractic Clinic. She was part of the Student Chiropractic Sports Council where she gained exposure to treating athletes and patients with sports injuries. In 2020/2021, during Dr Thriya’s first year of qualifying, she worked as a locum and an associate at 3 different practices, which allowed her to gain exposure and experience as a practitioner in private practice, this gave her the courage to open her own practice and become a business owner.
For Dr Thriya, one of the many joys of being a chiropractor is the capacity to work with people from all walks of life. Her purpose is to be present and connect with those she cares for, to work together to improve their health and overall well-being She is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and is a registered practitioner with the General Chiropractic Council.
